In 1938, oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia by the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco). However, it was only in 1973 that Saudi Arabia obtained twenty percent (20%) stock in the company. Then in 1988, the country purchased the company.
The Republic of Vanuatu is made up of eighty-three islands in the South Pacific Ocean. Many of these islands are inhabited. The country has three official languages, and they are Bislama, English and French.
