Jamaica was the fourth country in the Caribbean to gain independence. It gained it from the British on the 6th
of August 1962.
The Republic of Vanuatu is made up of eighty-three islands in the South Pacific Ocean. Many of these islands are inhabited. The country has three official languages, and they are Bislama, English and French.
