With more than seventeen thousand islands, Indonesia
is the largest archipelago (a group of islands) in the world.
The Republic of Vanuatu is made up of eighty-three islands in the South Pacific Ocean. Many of these islands are inhabited. The country has three official languages, and they are Bislama, English and French.
