Guatemala – Currency

The Guatemalan Quetzal is this country’s legal currency. The word quetzal is from the country’s national bird, the Resplendent Quetzal. Many years ago, the tail feathers of these beautiful birds were used as currency.

Ethiopia – It’s 2012 in 2019

The Ethiopian Calendar is different from the Gregorian Calendar and the latter is what most of the world goes by. The Ethiopian Calendar has thirteen months in a year, while the Gregorian one has twelve months. Currently, the year in Ethiopia is 2012. Brazil – Home of the most “Uncontacted People”

I really don’t know the reason why. However, whenever I hear about an uncontacted group of people living in the forested area, my mind is always blown. There are so many questions that run through my mind about them. Nevertheless, this is not about me. It is about Brazil, and in this country’s forested areas, there are about 100 tribes or groups of people living there. Vanuatu – Location and Languages

The Republic of Vanuatu is made up of eighty-three islands in the South Pacific Ocean. Many of these islands are inhabited. The country has three official languages, and they are Bislama, English and French.
