On the 9th of July 2011, South Sudan became the newest country in the world. It gained independence from Sudan and became the Republic of South Sudan. Juba is the capital of the country.
The Republic of Vanuatu is made up of eighty-three islands in the South Pacific Ocean. Many of these islands are inhabited. The country has three official languages, and they are Bislama, English and French.
