Moldova was formerly Moldavia. In November 2016, Igor Dodon was elected as
the President of the country. This was
the first time in sixteen years that the Head of State was chosen by the
citizens and not Parliament.
The Ethiopian Calendar is different from the Gregorian Calendar and the latter is what most of the world goes by. The Ethiopian Calendar has thirteen months in a year, while the Gregorian one has twelve months. Currently, the year in Ethiopia is 2012.
