There are 21
letters in the standard Italian alphabet, compared to the English alphabet, which
has 26 letters. Additionally, the
letters J, K, W, X and Y are not in the Italian alphabet. Nevertheless, these letters are found in some
“loan or foreign” words used in Italy.
The Ethiopian Calendar is different from the Gregorian Calendar and the latter is what most of the world goes by. The Ethiopian Calendar has thirteen months in a year, while the Gregorian one has twelve months. Currently, the year in Ethiopia is 2012.
