Zersenay Tadese was born on the 8th February 1982, and he was the first person to win an Olympic medal for his country. For about eight years, he held the world record in the half marathon, and he also has several awards from competing in other competitions.
The Ethiopian Calendar is different from the Gregorian Calendar and the latter is what most of the world goes by.
