A Review On: A Brief History of the Jewish Settlement in Barbados

This informative pamphlet/book has twelve pages, four of which are of black and white photos, and it was printed in 1986.
It reveals a little about the Jewish settlers who fled to Barbados from Brazil, South America after Portugal reclaimed that colony.

It tells of the ups and downs of the Jewish people who dwelled in Barbados in a simple and to-the-point manner.

As for the photos, although it would have been pleasing to see much more of the Synagogue, the present ones are beneficial to the history that is covered here.

Today, the Synagogue is a tourist attraction in Barbados and reading a bit about its history and especially when it was on the verge of repairs, is worthwhile.

True, one or two drivers can miss average the gap, but come on, every time that the traffic light changes? Pedestrians are not beggars at the side of the road, asking drivers to show them mercy by allowing them to get to the other sid...
